Research Vessel Directions

Directions to the UC Davis Research Vessel John Le Conte

The research vessel will be at the Tahoe City Marina boat dock in downtown Tahoe City, between the Boat Works Mall and the Tahoe City Marina Mall. Parking is available in the parking lots between these two malls and also on the highway.

Directions from Truckee, California/Interstate 80

Take STATE ROUTE 89 SOUTH to Tahoe City (13.0 miles)
Continue straight through traffic light at Tahoe City / CA-89 becomes CA-28 / N LAKE BLVD. (0.4 miles)
In downtown Tahoe City, Turn RIGHT at “Boat Works Mall” sign heading towards the lake.
End at Tahoe City Marina

Take TAHOE BLVD / NV-28 WEST to Tahoe City.
Follow NV-28 Crossing into CALIFORNIA. (13.3 miles from Mount Rose Hwy 431 intersection)
In downtown Tahoe City, Turn LEFT at “Boat Works Mall” sign heading towards the lake.
End at Tahoe City Marina
