Housed in the Historic Hatchery built in the 1920's, surrounded by a native plant demonstration garden, the Eriksson Education Center (only open during the peak summer months) features innovative exhibits on why Lake Tahoe is unique - and how science and research is being used to restore and protect Lake Tahoe for future generations.

Hours:

Free, self-guided tours available daily from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. during summer months (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Visitors are welcome to view the Eriksson Education Center located on the north side of the building, or tour the grounds, which feature several interpretive panels among the demonstration gardens and test plots.
