Scott Fitzgerrell will share photos and discuss the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) Circumnavigate Lake Tahoe event scheduled for June 19-25, 2023. Registration just opened and is limited. Scott will present photos from the previous two years' events.

This year marks the Third Annual Circumnavigate Lake Tahoe (TERC CIRC 3). The event supports science around the lake and beyond while kayaking Lake Tahoe and takes place over seven days, starting Monday, June 19, and concluding Sunday, June 25, 2023. Many people have paddled Lake Tahoe, but this event is unique. In addition to each day’s 6-13 miles of spectacular shoreline paddling, participants see, share, and learn about Lake Tahoe’s ecology, geology, and emerging challenges. Each day, TERC’s scientific experts deliver illuminating talks explaining the research TERC conducts to protect and restore Lake Tahoe.
