The Tahoe Science Center, in partnership with the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, is proud to sponsor this screening of “Wilder Than Wild” at the Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences building.

“Wilder Than Wild” is a one-hour documentary film by Kevin White addressing how fire suppression and climate change have exposed our forests and communities to large, high-severity wildfires. 

The event begins at 5:30 with a short introduction. The film starts at 5:45 p.m., with light refreshments and beverages available. A thought-provoking panel discussion will follow the film at 6:45 p.m., featuring North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, US Forest Service, Washoe County Emergency Management, NV Energy, and more.
