Amelia Jones is collecting data from and evaluating a new system of dissolved oxygen sensors located in the central deep part of Lake Tahoe. TERC eventually hopes to transition to a new system that improves the frequency of monitoring the rate at which algae (phytoplankton) is growing at different depths. This information is useful in determining the overall health of the lake.
