Bio

Drew is a PhD Candidate in Water Resources Engineering and specializes in direct measurements of ocean turbulence near polar ice shelves. While his dissertation focuses on quantifying the heat transport that results from mixing meltwater into the coastal ocean, he has also accumulated experience making limnological measurements within California’s inland water bodies. Drew received his undergraduate degree in Physics from Middlebury College in and his Master’s in Environmental Engineering at UC Davis. Going forward, Drew intends to continue working in the field of water engineering while turning his EIT into a PE.
