Logan was born and raised in a small town in Iowa where he had a profound interest in nature, especially with plants and animals. After high school, he attended Iowa State University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. Post-graduation, he accepted a position as a Raptor Intern at Acadia National Park in Maine. One of his main duties in Acadia was to educate visitors about raptors and the importance of their conservation through interpretive programs. He applied to SNAP because it would be the perfect way to gain more experience with environmental education while living in a beautiful environment. His goals while working here at TERC are to gain more knowledge about educating communities in different ways and also to try different things that are out of his comfort zone.
