Keeler grew up in Laguna Beach, California and has always been interested in aquatic environments. He loves to surf, swim, dive, and boat. In June of 2024, he graduated from UCSB with a degree in environmental studies and a minor in spatial studies. His career began in conservations science working for Idaho Fish and Game conducting electro fishing and snorkel surveys. This past summer, he worked for Washington Department of Ecology collecting water quality, sediment, periphyton, and macro invertebrate samples in the eastern cascades. He is very excited to apply his experience  to the work of UC Davis TERC!
