Wilton's research includes the investigation of turbulent flows in rivers, lakes, and the atmosphere with a concentration in water-land-atmospheric interactions. Quantifying the transport of environmental pollutants released into the atmosphere from various reservoirs and taking a deeper look into evapotranspiration rates over various crops in California’s Central Valley.
