Children's Environmental Science Day at Commons Beach

Children's Environmental Science Day

Children’s Environmental Science Day is a free community event held annually for children and their families. The event includes hands-on science activities designed to create an awareness of the unique ecology of Lake Tahoe and provide an opportunity for young and old alike to learn about environmental and Earth science. (2018 Flyer Coming Soon)

The event is hosted by the North Tahoe Environmental Education Coalition (NTEEC), together with UC Davis scientists, staff, and local agencies and organizations of the Lake Tahoe Basin. Join us for science activities, games, crafts, and demonstrations. Come learn with your child!

2018 will mark the 18th year for this event and will be held on at Commons Beach in Tahoe City on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 1 – 4 p.m. For more information, please visit the event facebook page!/events/941151166059559.
