Support the Next Generation of Environmental Scientists!

Join us for the TERC Summer Internships for Scholars Public Poster Session, where undergraduate interns will present the results of their summer research tackling some of today's most pressing environmental challenges in the Tahoe Basin and beyond.

From collecting eDNA samples across California reservoirs to tracking carbon movement from forests to aquatic ecosystems and investigating how bees ferment their food stores, these students have spent the summer addressing real-world scientific questions with creativity, curiosity, and rigor.

This is a unique opportunity to meet the next generation of environmental scientists, learn about cutting-edge research, ask questions, and celebrate their accomplishments.

Enjoy complimentary appetizers and a no-host bar during the poster session from 4:00–6:00 p.m.

Following the poster session, join us at 6:00 p.m. for a special lecture Beneath the Surface: What Lakes Reveal About a Warming World by Dr. Catherine O'Reilly on August 13.
