We invite you to join us for an intimate evening with the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) on July 29th 4:30 – 6:30 pm at the Tahoe Yacht Club featuring delicious food, fine wine, and a compelling fireside chat moderated by SF Gate Tahoe Editor Julie Brown Davis. This special panel will explore the vital role of science education and outreach in protecting Lake Tahoe and sustaining TERC’s mission in a time of uncertain funding. Hear from Director Stephanie Hampton, Education Director Heather Segale, and Research Associate Mahren Hudson as they discuss the future of TERC’s education efforts.

Guests will also enjoy a blind wine tasting from five world regions: Italy, Switzerland, Eastern US, Western US, and Australia. Each region corresponds to the homeland of a renowned limnologist. Guests will sample each wine and guess which region it represents.
