Support the Next Generation of Environmental Scientists!
Join us for the TERC Summer Internship for Scholars Program Public Poster Session, where TERC undergraduate interns will showcase their summer research projects focused on pressing environmental challenges in the Tahoe Basin and beyond.
From studying soil moisture and sugar pine seedling survival, to tracking particle movement with autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), to exploring how nectar sweetness affects bees, these students are tackling real-world questions with creativity and scientific rigor.
This is a unique opportunity for students, educators, and the public to meet young researchers, ask questions, and get inspired.
Enjoy appetizers and a no-host bar during the poster session (4:00 pm - 6:00pm).
A special lecture will follow at 6:00 p.m. “Fire Risk, Fire Behavior, and Post-Fire Forest Resilience” with Dr. Andrew Latimer, UC Davis
