Cara Hollis manages TERC's communications and marketing strategy, primarily focusing on science communication. Her efforts include website copy, media relations, press releases, newsletters, social media video production and messaging, and other work to help educate the public on the issues facing the Lake Tahoe Basin and beyond. Her passion for science communication comes from the firm belief that science provides valuable information needed to protect the beautiful place we love for future generations to enjoy and benefit from. She has a BS in Geology and an interdisciplinary BA in Sustainability and Journalism.
