Colby Kalasardo is from Brentwood, California, and recently graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Marine and Coastal Science. Colby's participation in research/conservation efforts began with a TERC internship helping to improve the water quality of Clear Lake. After graduation, Colby worked with the Mendocino National Forest as a Hydrology Technician aiming to protect waterways from receiving additional sediment inflow. Colby is particularly excited to gain an understanding of the conservation efforts going on in Lake Tahoe, especially on projects related to the limnology of the system. Colby enjoys hiking, boogie boarding, traveling, and is thrilled to be apart of this amazing team.
