Bio

Elizaveata is a master's student in civil and environmental engineering, specializing in water resources. Her research focuses on understanding mixing events in Lake Tahoe due to winter storm forcing using an autonomous vertical profiler. She grew up in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, which cultivated a passion for her backyard and local communities. Outside of the lab, Elizaveata enjoys running, backpacking, skiing, surfing, and reading.
