Although Samantha grew up in Princeton, NJ, she is excited to return to her west coast roots while working as an Education Program Associate at the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center. She studied Environmental Policy and Drama at Washington University in St. Louis and is passionate about environmental protection. During college, she spent a semester in Portugal studying Sustainability and Environmental Justice and returned after graduating to volunteer at an ecovillage, where she learned to embody a truly sustainable lifestyle. After spending lots of time in Tahoe over the past decade, including a summer as an intern at TERC, Samantha is ecstatic to return to the area full-time and contribute to greater scientific and environmental understanding among the local community. Outside of work, you can find her hiking, skiing, traveling, trying new restaurants, playing guitar, or acting on stage.
